What counts as "visible plating wear"?
Any noticeable loss of the chrome-silver finish that exposes the base material underneath — flaking, peeling, or significant discoloration of the frame edge. Minor surface scratches that don't remove the plating layer are considered normal use.
How many times can I claim?
One claim per order. If you've purchased multiple cases, each order carries its own Silver Guard coverage — so every case you own is protected within its first 180 days.
What do I get if my claim is approved?

How long does the plating actually last?
With normal daily use, our PVD chrome plating typically maintains its finish for 8–14 months. Heavy use (construction work, frequent pocket friction) may shorten this. Either way, Silver Guard has you covered within the first 6 months — if it looks worn, we honor it.
